February 2017: A class-action lawsuit was filed against The Procter & Gamble Company for allegedly falsely marketing Herbal Essences Wild Naturals hair products as natural when, according to plaintiffs, they actually contain synthetic and chemical ingredients. (Takano et al v. The Procter & Gamble Company, Case No. 17-cv-385, E. D. CA.)
