In August 2018, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Kittrich Corp. for allegedly misleadingly representing that Ecosmart Insect Repellent repels mosquitoes for hours when, according to plaintiffs, scientific evidence shows that the product does not actually repel mosquitoes. (Burke et al v. Kittrich Corp., Case No. 18-cv-6819, C.D. Cal.)
