August 2016: A false advertising class-action lawsuit was filed against Pinnacle Foods Group for allegedly misleadingly marketing Duncan Hines Muffin Mixes – including Simple Mornings Blueberry Streusel Premium Muffin Mix and Simple Mornings Triple Chocolate Chunk Premium Muffin Mix – as containing “Real Ingredients” and “Nothing Artificial” when, according to plaintiffs, they actually contain synthetic, artificial, and genetically modified ingredients.
