In January 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Dollar Tree Stores for allegedly falsely advertising that vanilla is the exclusive flavoring ingredient in its brand of almondmilk when, according to the complaint, the ingredients list shows that the beverage contains “Natural Flavor” instead of vanilla. (Powell et al v. Dollar Tree Stores, Inc., Case No. 20-cv-734, S.D.NY.)
