Allegations: Misleadingly marketing products as healthy
In October 2016, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Dole Packaged Foods for, among other things, allegedly deceptively marketing various fruit-based snack foods – including Dole Fruit & Oatmeal and Dole Parfait – as healthy when they actually contain substantial amounts of added sugar.
