Discounts on Products Sold at 24 Hour Fitness

In August 2017, a class-action lawsuit was filed against 24 Hour Fitness USA for allegedly misrepresenting pricing discounts on products for sale at its gyms by offering steep discounts off of false former prices. Specifically, the complaint alleges that the represented “Reg Price” was artificial, arbitrary, and not the prevailing market retail price for the three months before the advertisement, as required by California law. (Dickinson et al v. 24 Hour Fitness USA, Inc. et al, Case No. 17-cv-4877, N. D. CA.)
