October 2018: This case was voluntarily dismissed because the parties reached a settlement agreement, the terms of which have not been disclosed.
April 2018: Plaintiffs filed an amended complaint similarly alleging that Derma E® misleadingly markets skincare products as natural when, according to plaintiffs, they actually contain synthetic, artificial, and non-natural ingredients.
October 2016: This case was transferred to federal court. (Case No. 16-cv-7735, S. D. NY.)
August 2016: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Derma E® for allegedly misleadingly marketing its skincare products – including lotions, scrubs, and cleansers – as natural when, according to plaintiffs, they contain synthetic ingredients.
