April 2020: This case was dismissed because the parties reached a settlement agreement, the terms of which have not been disclosed.
December 2019: The claims against Danone North America were dismissed and Danone US was substituted as the defendant.
June 2019: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Danone North America for allegedly falsely marketing its vanilla yogurts – including Dannon brand whole milk and low fat yogurts and Oikos Triple Zero Greek yogurts – as being flavored with “Vanilla with Other Natural Flavors” when, according to the complaint, the yogurts contain more vanillin (an artificial vanilla flavor) than true vanilla that comes from vanilla beans.
