Allegations: Falsely marketing that products contain “No Artificial Flavors”
In October 2018, a class-action lawsuit was filed against The Kraft Heinz Company for allegedly falsely marketing that Crystal Light beverage products contain fruit juices and are natural, pure, and healthy when, according to plaintiffs, the products do not contain fruit juices, are primarily water, and contain artificial flavors and a large amount of sugar. Later in the month, the named plaintiff voluntarily dismissed his individual claims When a complaint is dismissed with prejudice, it cannot be refiled., the reasons for which have not been disclosed.
