March 2017: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Valeant Pharmaceuticals for allegedly falsely marketing CeraVe Baby Sunscreen as being made with “naturally sourced sunscreen ingredients” and “without harsh ingredients” when, in reality, the sunscreen contains synthetic and potentially harmful ingredients. (Labajo et al v. Valeant Pharmaceuticals International, Inc. and Valeant Pharmaceuticals North America, LLC, Case No. 17-cv-412, C. D. CA.)
