In March 2017, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Unique Beverage Company for allegedly misleadingly marketing Cascade Ice Coconut Water as coconut water when it actually does not have any coconut. (Silva et al v. Unique Beverage Company, LLC, Case No. 17-cv-391, D. OR.)
