In March 2015, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Breckenridge Distillery for allegedly falsely marketing Breckenridge Bourbon Whiskey. According to the complaint, the company markets whiskey as made in Colorado when, in reality, some of the whiskey is produced in bulk outside of Colorado. (Cady et al v.
