In August 2017, a class-action lawsuit was filed against NBTY and United States Nutrition for allegedly falsely advertising Body Fortress 100% Pure Glutamine Powder. Specifically, the complaint alleges that the companies misleadingly market the dietary supplement as an “Ultimate Recovery Fuel” that “Boosts Post-Workout Recovery,” enhances muscle growth, and provides faster recovery without scientific evidence to support such claims.
