January 2020: A class-action lawsuit was filed against The Cookware Company for allegedly falsely advertising that “nothing sticks to Blue Diamond’s nonstick ceramic surface” on Blue Diamond Enhanced Ceramic Non-Stick Pans when, according to plaintiffs, the cookware does not perform as advertised. (Lamb et al v. The Cookware Company (USA), LLC, Case No. 20-cv-704, S.D.N.Y.)
