In February 2018, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Majans America for allegedly misleadingly marketing Ancient Grain Twists to make consumers believe the snacks contain only ancient grains when, according to the plaintiffs, the main ingredients in the snacks are peas and rice. (Louis et al v. MJS America LLC d/b/a Majans America LLC, Case No. 18-cv-1046, E.D.N.Y.)
