A class-action lawsuit was filed against Reckitt Benckiser for allegedly misleadingly claiming that Air Wick® aerosol sprays “eliminate[] odors” when, according to plaintiffs, the sprays mask odors instead of eliminating them. The case was originally filed in a New York court in August 2017 and transferred to a New Jersey court in January 2018. (Akwei et al v. Reckitt Benckiser LLC, Case No. 18-cv-374, D. NJ.)
