A June 2012 class action charges Adidas with falsely advertising its adiPure barefoot running shoes. The lawsuit asserts that Adidas makes various false health claims about the shoes and fails to warn consumers that the decreased padding and structural differences of the adiPure compared to traditional running shoes can lead to injury.
