Wilson Sporting Goods Tennis Racquets
June 2014: This action was voluntarily dismissed pursuant to a settlement agreement. The terms of the settlement have not been disclosed.
August 2013: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Wilson Sporting Goods Co. claiming that the company deceptively advertises its tennis racquets. Specifically, plaintiffs allege that the company advertises that Wilson-sponsored pros use the same racquets sold to the public in stores when, in reality, the pros use different racquets that are painted to look identical to the ones sold in stores. (Kramer et al. v. Wilson Sporting Goods Co. and Does 1-10, Case No. 13-cv-6330, C.D. Cal.).
