TINA.org submitted a comment to the FTC supporting a proposed consent order reached in a case it filed against children’s supplement company TruHeight for claiming its supplement was clinically proven to help height growth without proper substantiation, and amplifying its deceptive growth claims through thousands of fabricated reviews written by employees or AI chatbots.
