Environmental Protection Agency

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), which was formed in 1970, is an agency of the U.S. federal government tasked with protecting human health and the environment.  It does this, in part, by drafting and enforcing environmental regulations.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), which was formed in 1970, is an agency of the U.S. federal government tasked with protecting human health and the environment.  It does this, in part, by drafting and enforcing environmental regulations.

And some of those regulations pertain to pesticide labeling.  In addition to providing a long list of items that must be included on labels, the regulations also state that false and misleading statements in labels are prohibited.

So, if you spot a shady label on a pesticide container, let the EPA know.
