In January 2013, another class-action lawsuit was filed against Pfizer regarding its marketing of Zoloft.  This time, the allegation is that the drug label and marketing materials do not mention the numerous clinical trials in which Zoloft was shown to be no more effective in treating depression than placebo.  Instead, Pfizer’s consumers are given the impression that Zoloft is very effective for treating depression. (Plumlee v. Pfizer, Inc., Case No. 13-cv-00414, N.D. Cal.)
