In March 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Zinus, Inc. and several retailers – including Amazon, eBay, Target, Walmart, and Wayfair – for allegedly failing to adequately warn consumers that certain mattresses release dangerous glass fibers due to a defect and that the outer cover should not be removed. (Chandler et al v. Zinus Inc., Case No. 20-cv-265, S.D. Ill.)
