August 2016: A class-action lawsuit was filed against the clothing retailer Zara USA, Inc. for allegedly deceptively pricing products by only including the price in euros (which is a larger unit of currency than the American dollar) on price tags to make customers think its products are less expensive than they actually are. In addition, the complaint claims that the cost of the product in dollars is not the accurate American dollar equivalent to the price on the tag in euros. (Rose et al v. Zara USA, Inc. and Does 1-10, Case No. 16-cv-6229, C. D. CA.)
