In November 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against WW International for allegedly violating California state law by failing to adequately disclose the terms and cancellation policy of its subscriptions for WW-brand weight-loss, health, and wellness products and services and charging consumers without their consent. Plaintiffs also claim that the company makes it difficult and confusing to cancel subscriptions. (Morrell et al v. WW International, Inc., Case No. 20-cv-9912, S.D.N.Y.)
