WEN Hair Care Products
May 2016: After a status conference, the case was closed. The reasons have not been disclosed.
March 2016: A false advertising class-action lawsuit was filed against QVC and WEN by Chaz Dean. The complaint alleges that the companies deceptively market products – including varieties of WEN Cleansing Conditioners – as improving hair health and being less harmful than other hair care products without adequately disclosing that the products may cause serious side effects, including hair loss. In April 2016, the lawsuit was transferred to federal court. (Robinson et al v. QVC, Inc. and WEN by Chaz Dean, Inc., Case No. 16-cv-60932, S. D. FL.)
