October 2014: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Tyson Foods, Inc. for allegedly falsely marketing several frozen breaded chicken products – including Chicken Nuggets, Crispy Chicken Strips, Chicken Patties, and Chicken Breast Fillets – as “100% all natural” or made with “100% all natural ingredients” when the breading, flour, and feed given to the chickens are actually made with genetically modified ingredients. (Petkevicius et al v. Tyson Foods, Inc., Case No. 14-cv-4655, N. D. CA.).
