January 2015: This action was voluntarily dismissed, the reasons for which have not been disclosed.
October 2014: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Twinings of North America, Inc. for allegedly misbranding its green, black, and white tea products. Specifically, the complaint alleges that the company misleadingly claims, among other things, that the teas are a “natural source of antioxidants” without meeting the regulatory requirements to make such claims. (Norris et al v. Twinings of North America, Inc., Case No. 14-cv-14048, D. MA.).
