The Horsepower of BlendTec Blenders
In August 2019, a class-action lawsuit was filed alleging that BlendTec blenders do not, and cannot, achieve the advertised peak horsepower during actual use. Specifically, plaintiffs claim that the highest possible horsepower for blenders with an advertised “3.0 Peak HP” is only 2.09 and the highest possible horsepower for blenders with an advertised “3.8 Peak HP” is only 2.41.
