In October 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against The Coleman Company for allegedly misleadingly marketing that ice will stay solid in its line of ice coolers for a specific period of time (e.g., “1 Day” through “7 Days”) when, according to the complaint, such claims are not true. (Zachmann et al v. The Coleman Company Inc., Case No. 20-cv-9146, S.D.N.Y.)
