February 2019: A class-action lawsuit was filed against BrainFM, Inc. (a web-based company that offers subscriptions for music streaming) for allegedly failing to adequately present the terms of its automatic renewal and continuous service offers resulting in subscribers being charged without their consent. (Rivera et al v. BrainFM, Inc., Case No. 19-cv-1217, C.D. Cal.)
