Spring Valley Glucosamine Sulfate

In March 2018, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Walmart for allegedly mislabeling Spring Valley joint health supplements as containing glucosamine sulfate when, according to plaintiffs, they contain glucosamine hydrochloride and potassium sulfate. The complaint also alleges that, because the supplements do not contain the ingredient on the product label, they are not effective for the advertised purposes. (Parker et al v. Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., Case No. 18-cv-465, E.D. Mo.)
