In March 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Scott Credit Union for allegedly misleadingly representing that it assesses overdraft non-sufficient funds fees based on the amount of money in an account when, according to plaintiffs, such fees are assessed based on an amount that deducts holds placed on deposits and pending debit card transactions.
