In Oct 2016, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Sanmedica International for allegedly falsely advertising that Sero Vital-hgh provides anti-aging benefits. Specifically, the complaint alleges that the company markets the pill as, among other things, having the ability to “turn back time” in the human aging process and increase Human Growth Hormone (HGH) levels in the body by 682% when, in reality, such claims are false. (Martin et al v. Sanmedica International, LLC and Does 1-10, Case No. 16-cv-7794, C. D. CA.)
