In June 2018, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Omni Hotels for allegedly misleadingly advertising room rates at hotels by failing to disclose that the company then adds a mandatory, undisclosed “resort fee” to the advertised low base room rates. (Samaniego et al v. Omni Hotels Management Corp. et al, Case No. 18-cv-1372, S.D. Cal.)
