Rawlings Youth 5150 USA Baseball Bat
In October 2018, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Rawlings Sporting Goods (and amended in January 2019) for allegedly misrepresenting the weight of its baseball bats. Specifically, plaintiffs allege that the company claims that the Rawlings Youth 5150 USA baseball bat is 16 ounces when, according to the plaintiffs, the bat is approximately 18.6 ounces. (Sotelo et al v. Rawlings Sporting Goods Company, Inc., Case No. 18-cv-9166, C. D. CA.)
