September 2018: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Pret A Manager and JAB Holding Company for allegedly deceptively labeling breads and other baked goods as “Natural Food” when, according to plaintiffs, they contain traces of a synthetic biocide. (Daly et al v. Pret A Manager, Ltd. and Jab Holding Co., Case No. 18-cv-5368, E. D. NY.)
