In June 2018, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Halo Top Creamery for allegedly deceptively packaging its ice cream in opaque containers that frequently contain less than a full pint of ice cream. (Kamal et al v. Eden Creamery, LLC dba Halo Top Creamery, Case No. 18-cv-1298, S. D. CA.)
