In February 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Idaho Central Credit Union for allegedly misleadingly promising that it only charges overdraft fees if a transaction causes an account to have a negative balance when, according to the complaint, the credit union charges overdraft fees on transactions that do not overdraw accounts.
