Overdraft Fees at Atlantic Union Bank

In June 2019, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Atlantic Union Bank for allegedly misrepresenting that the bank only charges overdraft fees if an account does not have enough money to cover the transaction when, according to the complaint, the bank also charges overdraft fees on transactions that do not put an account into a negative balance. (Ford et al v. Atlantic Union Bank, Case No. 19-cv-440, E. D. VA.)
