Outlet Prices at G.H. Bass & Co. Stores
In June 2016, a false advertising class-action lawsuit was filed against AM Retail Group for allegedly misleadingly advertising discounted prices at G.H. Bass & Co. outlet and online “Factory Outlet” stores by, among other things, comparing a fabricated “original” price to a lower “sale” price to make customers believe they are getting a significant discount. The complaint was transferred to federal court in July 2016 and then to another federal court in August 2016. (Ramos et al v. AM Retail Group, Inc. and Does 1-100, Case No. 16-cv-1842, E. D. CA.)
