Organic Representations at Bareburger Restaurants

In March 2019, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Bareburger Group for allegedly misleadingly representing that the food items sold at Bareburger restaurants are “organic” when, according to the complaint, several of the restaurant’s ingredients – including beef, lamb, bison, mayonnaise, and tomatoes – are not organic and are not adequately separated from the organic ingredients. (Rosenberg et al v. Bareburger Group LLC, Case No. 19-cv-1634, E. D. NY.)
