June 2015: A false advertising class-action lawsuit was filed against Heinz for, among other things, allegedly falsely marketing its Ore Ida Extra Crispy Easy Fries and Easy Tater Tots as containing “0g Trans Fat” when they actually contain “dangerous levels of trans fat.” (Backus et al v. H.J. Heinz Company, Case No. 15-cv-2738, N. D. CA.)
