May 2020: The Newell case was transferred to federal court. (Case No. 20-cv-61059, S.D. Fl.)

April 2020: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Petsmart for allegedly marketing Only Natural Pet Hemp Calming Support for dogs as being able to treat, mitigate, and prevent diseases and provide calm and relief from stress and anxiety in dogs without the required FDA approval or being included on the FDA’s list of animal drugs that may be legally marketed. (Newell et al v. Petsmart, Inc., Case No. CACE-20-007163, Florida State Court – Broward County)
