March 2017: Two false advertising class-action lawsuits were filed against Odwalla, Inc. and The Coca-Cola Company alleging that the “No Added Sugar” claim on Odwalla Juice labels is deceptive because similar juices also do not contain added sugar. According to the complaints, the FDA has stated that “No Added Sugar” claims are not appropriate for foods that do not normally contain added sugars.
