Odor-Eaters Spray Powder and Stink Stoppers Spray
Allegations: Failing to disclose products contain the carcinogen benzene
In October 2016, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Blistex Inc. for allegedly deceptively marketing Odor-Eaters® shoe insoles as, among other things, having the ability to “destroy[] odors” and provide “all-day effectiveness guaranteed” when, in reality, the insoles have “very little capability to reduce existing odor and cannot eliminate all future odor.” (Izquierdo et al v. Blistex Inc., Case No. 16-cv-5554, E. D. NY.)
