Lawsuit pokes holes in company’s Swiss branding.
In September 2016, a class-action lawsuit was filed against New Whey Nutrition for allegedly falsely marketing New Whey Liquid Protein. Among other things, the complaint alleges that the supplement contains less protein than represented on the label. According to the complaint, the label claims that the supplement contains 42 grams of protein per serving when it actually contains only 7.61 grams per serving. (Lampros et al v. New Whey Nutrition, LLC, Case No. 16-cv-9162, N. D. IL.)
