October 2017: This case was remanded back to state court.
April 2017: This case was transferred to federal court.
March 2017: A false advertising class-action lawsuit was filed against MyPillow for allegedly using “bait and switch” tactics in the marketing for pillows by providing consumers with a Buy One Get One Free (BOGO) promotion code that does not work. According to the complaint, the named plaintiff called to talk to a representative after having problems using the promo code online and got approximately 33% off of the retail price of two pillows instead.
