May 2016: The case was transferred to federal court. (Case No. 16-cv-2727, N. D. CA.) Later in May, the action was voluntarily dismissed When a complaint is dismissed with prejudice, it cannot be refiled., the reasons for which have not been disclosed.

May 2015: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Lenny & Larry’s for allegedly misleadingly advertising its Complete Cookies, Muscle Brownies, Muscle Muffins, and FIT Protein Brownies as being “All Natural” when, according to plaintiffs, they actually contain unnatural, genetically-modified, synthetic, artificial, and heavily-processed ingredients. (Plaintiffs filed an amended complaint in May 2016.) (Wiley et al v. Lenny & Larry’s Inc., Case No. 15-545875, California Superior Court – County of San Francisco)
