In June 2017, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Juno (a company offering ridesharing services) for allegedly luring drivers from other services to join the company by promising them equity ownership when, according to plaintiffs, drivers who chose to receive $100 in shares of Juno acquired “worthless” shares.
