In December 2017, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Beaverton Foods for allegedly falsely marketing Inglehoffer® Original Stone Ground Mustard Sauce as containing “No Preservatives” when, according to plaintiffs, the mustard actually contains a preservative, citric acid. (Quiroz et al v. Beaverton Foods, Inc., Case No. 17-cv-7348, E. D. NY.)
